Amtak Fasteners is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gripnail Corporation, Inc.

Amtak Fasteners specializes in fastening systems for attaching
lightweight components to metal. Nameplate fasteners such as Metal-Tacks and Punch-Pins fasten nameplates, serial or identification plates to steel, cast iron or aluminum. Insulation fasteners such as Gripnails, Insul-Tacks and Power Points fasten insulation to sheet metal. Tack-Mounts are cable tie mount fasteners and Twist-Tacks attach lightweight components to aluminum.

Each fastening system may be applied with a variety of fastening equipment. This fastening equipment ranges from simple hand tools and pneumatic tools to fully automated bench presses. Custom fastening equipment is also available to meet customer specific applications.

Amtak nameplate fasteners are used in automotive, fluid power and a variety of manufacturing industries. The Insulation fasteners are used in manufacturing HVAC ductwork as well as HVAC equipment. Cable tie mount fasteners may be used where wire management is needed over metal surfaces. Twist-Tacks may be scaled up or down to increase withdrawal resistance in aluminum extrusions, plate or tubing.
